lesson well-learnt
my hostel card was confiscated as i came back late.haiz,that security guard was too much.he confiscated my hostel card and told me to get it back from the warden the next morning.ok,i did as told.in fact,i went to the hostel management office at bout 12pm.mr yeoh attended to me.he was so suprised to hear bout my request as he did not receive any cards whatsoever.he made a phone call.apprently,due to the inefficiency of the guards,my card was still in the control room.fine,i shall get it later.
i waited til it was almost 5pm before i went to the management office again.and i was so disappointed to find out that my card was not in the management office again.so mr yeoh asked me to get it from the securiry control room,situated in the college.i went there and talked to the person-in-charge.ok,apparently a security guard was supposed to send my card back to the warden.but where was he?i just came from the hostel management office!gee,and i made 2 trips.
anyways,that guy was nice.chatted with me.and gave a lecture bout how important it is for them to make sure of our safety bla bla bla.and so i listened and talked a little while waiting.and waiting and waiting.ok,i seriously felt that how come some people can be such a nuisance.didnt even understand orders.because of that person's bluntness,i need to walk all the way back to the hostel management office for the 3rd time.bravo,i exercised lots.i even told the guy in the security control room that it was my 3rd time meeting mr yeoh that day.talking bout efficiency...haiz...
went to see him.he had do photostat the documents,4 copies of them.he looked at me and said: next time,if u see the time is already 3am,dont come back.just stay at your friend's place til 7am.now i have to do extra paper works and you get yourself a 1st warning letter.remember that.yaya..that's exactly what he said to me.haha,ok,i shall remember that.would keep that in mind.no wonder my roomie didnt come back these few days.
next time,really had to act smart.just dont go back.hmm...think they are encouraging students to stay outside at friend's place to save all the troubles.. =P lesson well-learnt.Labels: lil chatty chat
