it's time to change new a hairsttyle. i was bored my looks as i had not changed my hairstyle for few sems. haha, i used to change a new hairstyle at the beginning of each sem. yeah, my hairstyles only lasted for 6mths back then. gone crazy when i entered coll as i could have any kind of hairstyles as long as i look good in them.. =P a major change from high school until some of my friends couldnt recognise me at first.
i had always wanted to perm my hair. initially, i wanted to perm my hair at the saloon recommended by sammie but there was a change in plan. i was having my lunch with my parents that day. i reminded them that i wanted to perm my hair before cny. haha, dad suggested that i should go to the hair saloon after lunch. well, impromptu plans were my dad's speciality.
getting all so excited, i followed my parents to banks to do their banking stuff. i was thinking of what kind of perm to be done to my wavy hair. prob was solved by mum as she asked me to do digital. she said that it's nice plus i could have 2 different look at the same time. i could still be a cute dollie when i changed the hairstyle a bit and if i feel sexy that day, i could turn myself into a sexy laydee..
i did my hair in D&D hair & beauty saloon in melaka. i love that hairstylist and his wife. they were friendly and nice. plus, the hairsylist told me what he was going to do with my hair and explained it thoroughly to me before he started his work. he asked for my expectations and modified it to should my face shape. while cutting my hair, he explained what he was currently doing to my hair and his next step. gosh,i love that as at least i had a rough idea of how i was going to look at the end of the day. he even helped me to choose my hair colour. i was quiet indecisive bout which hair colour to choose and he came to the rescue.
i permed and dyed my hair that day. so sorry that i didnt have any pics taken in the hair saloon as i didnt bring my cam out and i was all alone in the hair saloon. dad left for appointment and mum went back home to do her stuff. i was bored to death while waiting my hair to be permed. i stared blankly into the mirror for bout 40mins while the wires were connected from the machine to the curlers on my hair. i looked like an alien that you could see on movies. perhaps you would wonder why didnt i read mags in the saloon. oh well, there were only chinese mags. how i wished i could read chinese at that time.
the hairstylist was really good. he reminded me to inform him if i felt the heat was too much for me to bear. haha, just in case some of you might not be aware, i couldnt stand heat. after few mins, i couldnt bear anymore so i called him. he places to plastic hair clips on my hair, just slightly above my neck. it worked as i didnt feel the heat anymore.
after that 40mins of boredom, his wife washed my hair and blowdry it with a machine. then she mixed the hairdye colour and applied it to my hair. i had to wait for another 45mins but this time, it wasnt that bored as a malay laydee customer was really funny. she chatted with me a while.. *blush* i had to think for quite some time before i could reply her. sorry,mr tay...my 1A in bm is a history now.
