life as a working adult has never been easy. it's bout learning from the mistakes one make or sometimes the mistakes that seniors make in guiding one in doing any particular work. guess the perceived perception of one must work in a multinational company as the first job doesn't always apply. for instance, i've learnt how to use UBS though it's my time using it. i've been told to prepare financial statements for dormant companies which includes income statement, balance sheet, statement of changes in equity and cash flow statement. i've been guided to match the transactions recorded on book of accounts with their respective supporting documents. i've been learning how to audit as well as doing secretarial audit. all of them are done within 3 working days! my friends have been spending more than a month photocopying documents in multinational audit firms while i've been learning more and more stuff in a small audit firm.
i don't deny the fact that seniors may sometimes guide me wrongly which in turn makes me have to delete all the things i've done or re-do some parts of the entries. it can be kind of frustrating at some point in time but guess to err is human. i'll definitely keep the mistakes in mind and not repeat them in the future as it can be a tedious task to re-type verything all over again with no mistakes as i can't cut and paster or copy and paste when using UBS. it really tests my patience. i've prepared myself for those times as my friends have encountered worst situation than me. at least the seniors teach me the concept correctly. it's just that those aren't ideal presentation.
other than work, i can't wait to watch movies with michy. thus on saturday, we watch transformers with keith,kerry and karen too. haha, it's a midnight show which starts at 11.40pm. we only reach home at 3.30am. i think i've drained too much of my energy as previously, i attend class from 2pm to 8pm on saturday. i wake up at 6.30am on sunday to prepare myself for class which starts from 8am to 8pm. luckily the lecturer lets us off at 7pm. haha, i'm really inviting trouble for myself. the whole weekend i don't get enough rest and work is kind of hectic.
anyway, michy gives kerry and me a souvenir from swiss. omg!!! i'm so touched~ the souvenir is so special. it's actually a swiss knife with my name engraved on it. that's really sweet and thoughtful of her *winks*Labels: life is bout working too, lil chatty chat, lil party princess
