Thanks for your concern and donations! Really appreciate it lots! Though many of you sms me telling me that it's a small amount of contribution but to me and my family, it means a lot! My sis, Evelyn (min chun) is undergoing her surgery in UH on Wednesday, 17 September 2008. You can visit her on Thursday. I know many of you get a shock upon receiving my sms. Some have called or sms to ask me bout it but most of you called feing instead. Oh well, I will not cry if you ask me bout it because I have to be strong for both my sis and mum.

The fund raising is still on-going among my friends and I'm so glad to have all of you to be there for me. I felt so touched! For those who are too busy with work, I truly understand that. No worries bout it. You can always contact me when you are free. I will give you my contact details in facebook instead of posting it here.

I'm still clueless bout my sis current health condition though the biopsy is out as it's sealed with the doctor's name written on it. It's supposed to be unsealed by my sis' doctor on tuesday. I will definitely update you when i know the results. thanks for your concern. At this moment, I can tell you her condition by copying the details written on her patient card.

Principal diagnosis: Hereditary multiple osteochondromatosis

Chief clinical features: Multiple body swelling since childhood. Incision done in 2006 of right hip swelling biopsy noted osteochondromatosis. Currently admitted for swelling at right hip. Needle biopsy done.

Advice on discharge: To (I can't read the doctor's handwriting, it's spells as r-e-a....) down osteochondromatosis for wide resection and endoprosthesis replacement.

In order words, she is undergoing a surgery where her right thigh bone will be removed and placed with arficial hip. She will not be able to run or even squat in the future. She will have difficulty walking in proper manner, perhaps will limp a little. At least, she will be fine and we do really pray for her.

The doctor has related to my parents that perhaps Evelyn will have to undergo chemotherapy session but it's still unconfirmed until after the surgery and another biopsy is done. I will keep you guys updated and informed.

Evelyn has made few 'Thank You' cards herself and I will post it up soon. I really appreciate your help and concern. May God bless all of you! *hugs*

Btw, it is ok to call me and ask bout it, especially the guys. I promise that i will not cry. It's not 100% guaranteed though.
