make up counter SAs, a let down or a thumbs up service?
for me, it's a norm to buy from the SAs (sales assistants) who serve well. i will appreciate those who will take the effort to introduce new products to me but definitely not those who will push products to me just to reach their won sales targets. it's a really big turnoffs if anyone does that to me.
plus i dont know what's wrong with most SAs. they will look at you if you dress nicely but will not approach you if you look simple. oh well, it's not everytime i will dress well for shopping spree. normally i'll just wear a normal tank top or spagetti strap with a skirt simply because it's easier to change clothes.
not long ago, i went to jusco, mid valley to buy laneige products and the SAs just ignore me and went to serve others, my mum included. she tried explaining to mum bout the products and persuaded her to buy. hello??!! i'm here. my mum was there to accompany me. no one even bothered to serve me. if it's not for the discounts are only available for that particulat counter, i would have bought them from alice in pavilion.
anyway, it was when my mum pointed out that i was the one buying, the SA turned to me to serve me. ish... ok, it's a compensation coz she gave us an additional free gift which my mum really loved it. my mum reminded me to buy from the particular SA in the future. ya, rite! *no, i wont unless mum is there coz she only recognises mum*
after bout a month, i went to pavilion to exchange my points for laneige products. alice wasn't there so her colleague served me. oh well, since i wasn't buying anything additional, it's ok. i bumped into alice on my way to monorail station. she said hi and called me immediately after she's back to work. she called to informed me bout the exact same promo in mid valley. gee, i guess the promos dont go on the same time. i told me i bought my stuff in mid valley previously.
i tell mum that i will buy my stuff in pavilion next time as their promo is much later. at least i'll get a better service and not being ignored. yes, i can be really revengeful in this sense :P i worked as an auditor previously. it's still service line. though customers are not always right, but it's just so wrong to judge anyone by appearance.Labels: lil chatty chat
