yes, i know it's a little to still blog bout this but i can't resist myself. i can't blog bout it previously due to exam so i shall blog bout it now.

this movie is hilarious. though it's not as great as i expect it to be but it never fails to make me laugh throughout the movie. perhaps some of you may think that this is a stupid movie but for me it's a perfect movie to reduce stress especially when exam is round the corner. other than that, this movie is quite touching too. perhaps true love does really exist in this world, huh? only those who have experienced it can tell you that and i'm definitely not one of them as i'm still single up to this point in time. perhaps he's out there somewhere or perhaps there isn't such person at all.

anyway, the movie isn't that great without the company i'm with. i agree that the movie is hilarious but if not because i sit next to natasha and near nic, i won't have laughed that loud. in fact, we burst into laughing at all the funny scenes and we do not hold it in. phew, i'm so lucky to sit near them. that's because jen and sue ann complains that they sit near ans he doesn't laugh much which makes them too shy to laugh out loud. isn't that a torture?

some scenes in the movie are too gross. i try to refrain myself from blurting out,"eww, that's gross!" or "ewww...yeee...yucks..." or "yucks...urghh" and so on. i end up don't have the chance to remind myself not to do that as natasha accompanies me in making those extra sound effects. we are fortunate that no one has decided to throw popcorns at us. phew, have i mention bout how lucky i am to sit next to natasha?

i know some of you may not agree but orlando bloom is just so gorgeous and cute! i'm definitely very lucky as get a good seat plus natasha happens to adore orlando too. haha, we drool at him at the same time and keep chanting orlando's name especially when we think that he's dead. we are so disappointed and sad. we even pray that he's not dead in the movie. guess sitting next to a person who has the same interest as you do is extremely important for you to enjoy the whole movie.

it so happens that we sit next to each other. haha, jen is determined to sit near us the next time we are going for any movies together as she's jealous that we laugh so loud. oops, she can hear us from her seat. we are separated by jesse and kenelm in the middle. guess we must have laugh really loud. *sticks out tongue*

after the movies, we go for yum cha session. heislyc and mthree join us. heislyc decides to give us a treat for spilling the spoilers to him. actually no, he doesn't want to hear thsoe spoilers but we can't refrain ourselves from talking bout the movie. it's teh aftermath of watching a movie in a group. we are prone to talk bout the movie scenes. in a nutshell, i have a great time minus the lack of sleep. i only manage to get 3hours sleep before attending 9hours of class for the next two days. almost die of exhaustion.

does that sentence ring a bell in your head? if it doesn't, thumbs up for you as you are good in managing your personal finances! *claps hand* if you feel that that sentence is one of your favourite must use quotes, you are just like me. we can't resist the temptation of spending money to fulfil our needs. having a stable job for those who have joined the working community or monthly allowance provided by parents for students or part time jobs don't seem to be sufficient to meet month's end at times. most of us are having this dilemma and it haunts us from time to time. at least it haunts me during my every waking hours until i've found advertlets.com!

now i can earn some extra cash even without leaving my house! for starters, all i need to own is a blog which i write or dictate events that happen in my everyday life. subsequently, complete very simple registration steps with advertlets.com in order for me to be eligible to earn money through online advertising. it's really convenient as i don't even have to scout for advertisers. the management team of advertlets.com will do all the tough work or heavy duties of obtaining and negotiating with the clients while i only need to write articles that catch the interest of my blog readers to retain or increase my blog traffic. who says that earning money has to be tough? *winks*

perhaps some of you may ponder about the benefits of registering yourself with advertlets.com when you can easily register yourself with other online advertising services, in other word its competitors. for product differentiation, advertlets.com has devised a system of poll for you to be able to have an idea of your blog readers', be it your regular known readers or your silent readers, general details. with that, you are able to know more about your readers. i find this function really helpful and useful! i am able to determine the topics which interest my readers and blog an entry accordingly when i have writer's block. problem solved! yay! i will have a blog topic when nothing interesting happens for any particular phase or period of my life.

how many times have you encountered online advertisements that catch your interest but to find out much later those services aren't in malaysia? *raises hand* ya, i'm one of them! it's quite disappointing sometimes when i fall in love with some of the services provided or items that i wish to own but i can't have them. one of the reasons is i don't own a paypal account or credit card. even if i manage to borrow from someone else, some companies don't ship it into malaysia. that's so sad, huh? when i look at the list of advertisers who are currently collaborating with advertlets.com, i jump with joy! they are local companies which mean their offers are within my reach. the devastation involve from not being able to own any particular item is reduced at least by more than 50%. what's more interesting is that i don't have to worry much about not being financially competent to enjoy those privileges that are advertised as i can always earn money through blogging! sweet, huh? killing two birds with one stone! *chuckles gleefully*

besides that, advertlets.com's management team is prompt in replying your queries. personally, i have emailed the problems that i face and surprisingly my queries are answered within a short span of time. it's not everytime we are able to encounter such efficient and timely management team. the frustration involve when dealing with technical problems especially for someone who isn't technologically savvy like me is kept to the minimum. kudos to the management team! they even find ways to help us to earn extra pocket money. *smiling from ear to ear*

if you are thinking of something sex-related, go smack yourself on the head. *whacks*

to be honest with all of you, i'm not tech savvy at all but thanks to my guy friends and also my friends' bfs i own few gadgets. they are too free helpful when it comes to providing me with any type of gadget news, be it new stuff or old stuff. perhaps you are curious bout how they do it, hmm, it's actually quite easy to influence me. all they have to do is suddenly chat with me on msn, send me a link but refuse to tell me what the link is about. really evil of them considering kylie is really curious. not only that curiosity kills a cat, guess it kills kylie's wealth too.

after i click on the link to check it out, it always has to do with new gadget in town, be it that small lil ipod shuffle or that portable dvd player or canon digicam. of course there are others too and all of them are sponsored by my dad. guess this time i have to save money to buy it myself.

oh ya, finally i've decided to buy SE k810i as i have new found love who can satisfy me with the musical part of it. it's the new Creative Zen V Plus! now, this is really cool as it has capacity up to 8Gb and it can provide me with 15hrs of nonstop music each time the battery is fully charged. isn't this impressive? plus for a clumsy girl like me, it's durability against scratch-resistant is what matters to me the most! i will be really upset if my belongings have any scratches and perhaps this feature will reduce my headache.

it has a voice recording function too. guess it solves my prob of getting a voice recorder. haha, students should really get their hands on this to record down their lectures. well, not all students are blessed with very interesting lecturers. plus for those who just loves to daydream like me, we don't have to miss part of our lectures anymore. we can always playback the lectures. but that doesn't mean that daydreaming is encouraged.

not forgetting that it can stores pics! yay! i love this! at least i don't have to worry if i forget to bring my thumbdrive out. i can always use it to store the pics first before transferring them into CDs. thinking of this just makes me smile non stop as my handbag will not be full of small gadgets anymore. i don't have to check my bag every now and then to make sure they are still in the bag. won't be that stressed ever again!

thanks to mei ling's bf, boey! my bank balance will be reduced. but at least i've make up my mind on which hp to get! finally~

what's for dinner? dad had it all planned. we headed puchong for steamboat. dad would be footing the bill again. so it's his choice of dining place. i hope next yr it will be my turn :D

the place was crowded as well but we didn't have a difficult time getting a table though reservation was not placed. apparently as regular customers, the boss helped us to hunt for an empty table. i must say that the boss is really helpful and friendly.

after dad placed the orders for food and we had chosen our drinks, it's time to camwhore again. karen's hp cam was victimised again. it would have screamed and demanded for a break if it were able to speak human language. i believed it longed for a vacation break.

the wait for the setting up the steamboat pot wasn't long as the workers were swift in doing their jobs. while waiting for the soup to bowl, mii and papa put in the raw materials while kerry and i were still taking pics. evelyn didn't want to be leftout so she used her hp to snap pics of herself my my parents. karen was too tired and not in the mood to take pics.

as usual, while waiting for the food to be cooked, we chatted, laughing and teasing each other. ya, we teased our dad too. he could take jokes but to a certain extent, once we crossed the line the outcome would be hazardous. having living under one roof with him for all my life, except for the time which i spent in sunway hostel, i knew where his limit is. haha, ya, trying to act smart.

the seafood was fresh and so was the vegetables. remember to order for extra fishballs as they were delicious. the pork slices were great as well. thumbs up for the coconout drinks. the soup was a bit too salty for my liking compared to previous times. perhaps the business was too prosperous til quality control wasn't practiced as prescribed. oops, it's not audit engagement, i had too much of audit notes staring til my mind didn't function like it should be.

last sun, as all of us knew, it's happy mii's day! as usual, i woke up juz in time for brunch. mum kept coming into my room to ask me to be quick as dad was extremely hungry til he's gonna faint anytime. mum exaggerated la. instead of taking my own sweet time, i did my best to complete my daily routine within 30mins flat.

clad in a dress, i was ready for the outing. much to my disappointment, dad planned to date mum after the lunch. gee, he should hv told me earlier so tht i didnt cancel shaz's plan the nite before. he asked me to stay home and accompany karen who was revising for her mid-term exam while i should start to revise too. erm, i fell asleep within secs after i opened the audit notes. guilty as charged!

dad decided to hv lunch in usj 10 so tht she could send us back before his date with mum. initially, we decided to try the korean bbq above affin bank. it's juz not our luck as business hr was 30mins later. we were too hungry to wait for so long. saw the interior design though. very cool coz customers hv to sit down on the mat to enjoy their food. hehe, it's not exactly really tough luck coz i was wearing a dress. it's kinda uncomfy if i was to shift my sitting position frm time to time while eating.

jap food was the 2nd option but we were too hungry to walk to the other side of the shoplots. in the end, dad suggested tht we whould pay pizza uno a visit. its biz was good tht day! few mins after we placed our orders, the place was crowded. it's amazing considering there wasnt a table left at the back section within juz few mins.

alas, the food arrived and we digged in. sorry, no pics as karen's hp memory stick was full. i officially announced tht the digicam was missing, nowhere to be found! we had a large pizza named greek. it consisted of mussels, prawns and squids. it's totally yummy yummy til u felt like licking ur fingers after u munched down the pizza! u guys should really try this if u like seafood. we had oven baked half chicken as well. had to share it as the portion was kinda big and we were quite full at tht time. there's 2 oven-baked potatoes being slicked to half each, carrots and of course the star of the plate-the chicken~ the sauce was juz nice! thumbs up to this too!

the price is quite cheap given the fact tht the food portion is kinda big. for a small price, u get a big portion of food! their plates and bowls are big and so are the food. it's worth your money to give it a try! ;) the total bill is subjected to 5% govt tax and 5% service tax.

this place is alwiz crowded wif ppl esp during the weekends. its service is good as the waiters are still attentive during peak hrs, esp lunch time. many working adults visit this place during the weekends. during the weekends, the place isnt as packed as weekdays thus if u wanna spend the time wif ur family without having to scream across the table when u are chatting, it's recommended tht u visit this face during the weekends :D

there is a variety of food available ranging frm asian food to western food to ala carte which are onli available at nite. the desserts available are assorted too! thus if u are having a headache trying to figure out which place to dine coz the company u are with wanna try different type of cuisines, juz pay this place a visit! ur prob will be solved ;)

this tomyam fried meehoon is simply delicious! it has cuttlefish too at the price of onli rm 5.60. now tht's wat i call affordable and cheap! for a gurl like me who cant really take spicy food, this is tolerable! it's not too spicy til i need to gulp down glasses of water juz to enjoy a thai dish. if u really fancy spicy food, u can request the waiter to inform the kitchen of tht.

mii dun really like her tomyam soup mee as it's too sour to her liking. if u are a sour queen, oops did i juz say tht? i mean if u luv sour food and believe urself to be the queen of sour-food-eating, this dish is meant for u! ;) there are prawn, squids and oyster mushrooms. this bowl of mee is priced at rm 5.80.

karen luvs her tomyam soup meehoon lots! she thinks tht the sourness is simply marvellous! the meehoon has fully absorbed the taste of the tomyam. it's spicy for me but not spicy for her. the verdict is urs! it's priced at rm 5.80 too.

to quench our thirst, we order ice kacang. it's priced at rm 3.20 each. it's disappointing though as the ice is too coarse. it's sweetness is juz nice but ntg to shout about though coz its taste doesnt make u wanting for more. they dun put gula melaka(palm sugar or 'malacca sugar' in english) to add to its taste.

fashion savvy=gorgeous guys?

i've just finished visiting may's blog and though i hate to admit this but her blog entry is kinda true! where are the gorgeous m'sian guy? i'm sure m'sia is not short of gorgeous guys given the fact tht this is a multi-racial country. it's kinda disappointing nowadays when u are walking on the street, u can hardly find hot guys~ i can spot more hot gurls anywhere, anytime. u may argue tht some gurls are hot just coz they apply make up which is to some extent kinda true but hey, guys can look good too by dressing up! just take a look at the celebrities and compare their pics when they 1st enter the entertainment industry and now. there are so much differences! it's all bout packaging. of course, ordinary guys dun hv their own personal hairstylists, stylists, personal assistants, image consultants, big pay cheques, etc but cant guys just refer to the celebrities' styles and adjust the styles to meet their own personal preferences?

sad to say tht most working male adults dun dress up most of the time anymore. it's true tht they hv their own working dress code to follow compared with coll or uni students. but hey, how many of the guys actually work 7days a week? what's wrong with making themselves look better during the weekends? perhaps m'sian guys aint as fashion savvy as taiwanese, japanese, hongkies, koreans and guys in other asian countries. walking down the shopping malls, u can find many boutiques or outlets selling male garments and accessories but often they aint crowded. u can find some female shoppers trying to purchase some clothes for their loved ones instead.

guess the term 'dressing up' has long been omitted outta older guys' dictionary. they fail to remember how wonderful and gorgeous they look during their younger days. they rather spend time on what they perceive as relevant matters than to use the time and take initiative to make themselves look good for the laydees. boohoo~ hence, laziness and 'cant-be-bothered' attitude hv stolen those gorgeous guys away frm m'sia. tht's such a cruel truth!

looking at those high skool kids or those energetic uni/coll students, i'm sure tht m'sia still has her own share of gorgeous guys. izzit coz the younger generations are more fashion savvy, resorted in being a vainpot and worry bout their outlooks and presentation all the time? nah~ think again. those working male adults were once young and they did take the effort to look good at tht time, rite? so what's with the sudden change of mind? izzit coz they hv more responsibility or mortgages to serve upon? dun think they need to spend most of their savings in clothes though. it's all about mix and match. wearing an expensive designer's jeans with a tee which is cheap and yet has a cool design. dun u agree tht working male adults' bargaining powers are much more compared to those high skool kids or uni/coll students? if those younger guys manage to look good without having to spend a fortune, why cant the working male adults do the same?

after reading this blog entry, i hope tht u guys out there will take the effort to dress up the next time u are on an outing, k? the gurls hv spent their time to doll themselves up so plez respect them and return their favours by doing the same! => plez dun let ur attitudes kill m'sia's very own gorgeous guys~ thanx very much! *hugs*

thanx to sammie & andrew for accompanying me to watch 300! gosh, it's been difficult to find someone who hadnt watch this movie~ it's really kind of them to accompany me as they watched it earlier. felt so touched!!

anyway, the movie was awesome!!! love it! erm, it made me felt as though i was in the war too. lol... guessed sammie realised tht i actually made a sound of being in pain when the spear pierced thru the skin *blush* i was paying too much attention in the movie.

after movies, we went for our dinner. sammie intro a stall selling nyonya fried rice. it's ok. hahha... what to do? i was from malacca. had eaten genuine nyonya food so my standard towards the food was higher. dont get me wrong, the food was nice though but not as nice as the ones in malacca.

anyway, after dinner we went to folio to purchase cheekyboy's prezzie. it's a cute prezzie frm michy, sammie, andrew and me. it's really cute! serious... it wasnt tht difficult to choose the prezzie but we were undecisive at 1st. the gift wrapping was really cute as well. sammie wanted a ribbon to be on the box. it's beautiful~

after tht, we went to sammie's apartment to watch princess hrs. totally love it! lol..though it's the 1st time i watched it... after the show was over, we left her place to take a walk at plaza damas. all shops were closed but still managed to look at the flower pots =P

i really had a great time! and lotsa fun too. hehe, it's been quite sometime since i went out with friends on a shopping spree. erm, not exactly a shopping spree la.. more to a prezzie hunting session =P

well,saw the advertisement of love @ first note on astro over and over again.the storyline seemed touching but it's just too bad tht dad didnt subcribed to channel 48.lol,but as always,curiosity kills the cat.i actually searched youtube for this movie and voila!it's there...

what can i say?i totally love this movie...gee,i cried and cried and cried.lol...guess mum could even use my buckets of tears to mop the floor :P anyway,remember to watch this movie,k?it's highly recommended...sad but sweet...

RAIN,i'm coming!

i wasnt a big fan of RAIN previously.the stuff tht i knew bout him was related to me by my sis,karen.she's so into him but sorry,sis.the moment my cuzzie,eric called,asking me whether i would be having class on sat,things changed.lol.apparently he had tix to RAIN's coming concert.i jumped at the opportunity of course.skipping 3hrs of menon's class at the end,waiting for eric in the coll foyer.haha,it's my 1st ever concert.ya,pretty embarrassing,huh?my friends had always convince me to go concert with them but i didnt listen to them as i didnt wanna skip my class.guess RAIN's too hard to resist! :P

eric didnt know which tix he got until we were there.guess what,ppl??!!lol...he got media tix from his co,unilever.tht's one of the best things on earth!we had very clear view of RAIN.he's super HOT!!!and tall...he had great voice.so what if his english wasnt that great?his dance skills were enuff to make gurls' hearts melt.well,i'm not a great fan of small-eyed guys but he's really a jewel.he has cute smile~~n really really cute butt!! :P

bout the concert,it was awesome!a blast!!but haha....some aunties & uncles actually slept in the concert.guess they got their tix from their sons or daughters.anyway,i tried hard to memorise some of RAIN's speech on that nite.lol..had to tell my sis what happened,rite?

part of RAIN's speech( more or less what he said...i couldnt quite remember what other stuff tht he said):
"the girl tht i love,always leave me.... *paused for secs* i see a lots of
babies tonite... *paused and smiled* can i call u my baby? *paused and smled
again* * the crowd were screaming like mad..lol..i joined in the fun* ok,i'll
call u my babies.. *crowd screamed...some gurls even almost cried.i wasnt
exaggerating*

his dance movement were awesome!and who said tall guys couldnt dance well?RAIN had proven them wrong!oh ya...RAIN has a cute butt!lol..i couldnt help but to notice it when he danced.

RAIN turned his back to face the crowd,bending down a lil.we had a clear sight of his butt now.wearing a not-tight-long-black-striped-pants,he shook his butt left and rite to the slow rhythm of one...two...one...two... *crowd roared* he looked at the crowd,holding the same position,smiled cheekily and showed the crowd the hush sign(which was putting his index finger on his lips and made a hush sound).aww,he's so cute!!!and he cont to shake his butt again....the crowd didnt stop screaming and clapping...some even cheered!

ok,RAIN didnt rip off his shirt tht nite.but it wasnt a very big disappointed as when he was singing "in my bed" (i guessed tht's the song.i wasnt too sure of tht song title),he kneeled down.suddenly water came showering him from the top of the stage.he was all drenched up.lol.tht's when we noticed his six packs.his white long sleeved shirt became really transparent now.his black long pants were soaked but he still proceeded in singing the few lines without music.his voice was really clear and loud.he sang the song with lots of emotion,esp those lines,conveying the sadness in his voice.gosh,he's a great singer!

RAIN gave a speech again when the 2hrs were up.he surprised for all his fans by informing everyone tht he's gonna sing another two numbers.the crowd was so happy and cheered nonstop.he said:
"i'm going to sing 2 more songs.i'm a good
man"

to which the crowd agreed.after the two song were over,no one was prepared to leave stadium putra yet.everyone was busy chatting with excitement for quite some time.to our surprise,RAIN came out again,singing another song before ending his concert for the nite for good.

i had a great time and really enjoyed myself.his props during the concert were really good as well.lotsa fire and fireworks effects.the shower was good feature.the dancers did a terrific job.there were 4 female dancers & 8 male dancers.all of them had good figures too.sorry,ppl..i forgot to bring my digicam as i was rushing for my class earlier.but it's a good thing though coz no cams were allowed.a myb friend had taken pics during the nite.if any of u wish to take a look at those pics,u can visit vivian's multiply.

kylie's sypnosis:
this movie is based on a fantasy novel written by christopher paolini, set in a homeland named alagaesia where it was once ruled by dragon riders. one of the dragon riders who hungers for power overwhelms with greed has started a war where he and his man kill all the dragon riders. he, king galbatorix, then rules alagaesia with cruelty and instils fear in the people in order to prevent disloyalty. any disloyalty will be punished by death. as a result, a group of protestors, vardens to flee to the mountains in waiting for the predestined dragon rider to arrive and lead them for a war against the evil king baltorix and his assistant, a sorcerer named durka.

eragon, a young farm boy finds an object, rescued by arya from the hands of evil king galbatorix, which he believes to be a stone in the woods. out of curiosity, he keeps the 'stone' until one fine day when the 'stone', which is actually a dragon egg hatches. saphira is the name of the dragon. she only hatches when she has found her dragon rider, eragon.

eragon is being led by a former dragon rider, brom to meet vardens as eragon is the only hope for the rise of dragon riders. along the way, brom teaches eragon on handling and using the power of saphira. a tough journey is ahead of them as durka aims to stop them from joining forces with vardens.

kylie's review:
after watching the trailer, i think that this movie has the same concept as LOTR trilogy. in fact after watching the movie in cinema, i realise that there are some differences. dont compare eragon with LOTR trilogy as yet as it wont be a fair comparison, will it?remember how dreadful it is to watch LOTR: the fellowship of the ring because much of the info is squeezed into that movie?

for many viewers, eragon may be a big disappointment, but for me, it's ok. i'm actually looking forward to a sequel if there's any( i believe there is as the ending indicates so *winks*). eragon is kind of different from LOTR as it doesnt have as much war and love scenes as the later.

this movie portrays the value of trust and friendship. the level of trust eragon places on murtagh, son of a betrayer named morzan and brom in leading his way to the vardens. friendships which bonds eragon, saphira and arya. the alliances with vardens to defeat durka and the king's army.

this movie is worth watching if you are curious bout dragons and human being a team. remember not to read the novel before you watch the movie to minimise the disappointment. as predicted, the book is more detailed. just give the movie the benefit of the doubt....

when i listen to this song,i intepret it as tht guy's gf is dead.before she dies,she makes a promise with him that time will test how strong is their love for each other.and hence that guy goes to the place where the promise is made after 3 years.stands there while closing his eyes to sense her presence,recalling the promise they've made.his love for her still remains strong and even he's even more convinced that his love for her is even stronger.
